@eldron now we have to get your tall tatoo'd mate to join us.

I'm working on it!

He has a P29 damnit - not taking that machine to SSWC would be a sin!

Finally booked and entered! There are still loads of Cape Town ss-ers that have not booked yet but we are coming up for sure! Here's a vid of us riding our SS down a local trail...

So it looks to me like the SSWC 2012 will have a good couple of SS riders and even more "SS wannabe riders" who are going SS for this event only.

I sure hope a couple of them stick to it later and if not I am looking forward to the classifieds after the event as I am sure there will be some nice toys up for sale.

iRide,

That trail looks like it is going DOWN most of the time.

I recently visited Winterton, and I am afraid EVERYTHING is UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna k@k!!!

Adam Craig came in 37th at Windham riding SS!

@A_Craig: Thanks for all the stoke out there today, Windham crowd. SS challenge was, well, a challenge. Hope everyone knows I mean no disrespect.

@A_Craig: More magic... @shimanocycling came thru w/ fresh 9sp chain, which works MINT with a half-link and 34x17. Nap time then Windham shred time!

After months of contemplation I have decided on my gear for the race.

My grandfather fought in the 2nd boer war - although not at Spionkop - so I thought I would try and wear something that resembles the uniform he would have worn.
