Ouch, tjomma.

Just turn the knife whilst you are there :P

Sorry mate :P I am just battling to get the concept. A bit of 50's Schwinn meets Raleigh Bomber. It looks a bit like one of the cruizers you hire on the beachfront with discs fitted. (Your Ritchey on the other hand looks the business.... )

In the early 90's Pick 'n Pay used to sell Invader Beach Cruisers in a lumo paint job that looked exactly like that. It had a lekker paint job and kiff 12 speed gears plus a handle bar you could give your bokkie a lift on. Still prefer the Invader to that dull trellis from Trek.

He he took the words right out of my mouth, needs some neon pink, yellow and green!

No problem, I must say that it appeals to me, I like the name as well, as a bike that pays homage to the sport, that could be debatable as the earlier bikes were beach cruisers modified and used in the original concept of mountain biking.

I could be very biased but the Ritchey hits retro and the roots squarely in the nuts, it goes right back to those P21's.

The Specialized Stumpjumper HT. is also a bike that held on to it's original racing roots with Ned.

The Swayer, I like the name, I like the look, many won't and that is where they nailed it, make a bike that becomes something many talk about, being good or bad and you create interest.

Look at the Ritchey and the Stumpy's, some will go wow and a handful will think nay and it stops, with a bike like this, tongues will be wagging for a while yet.

It only looks nice in SS form....(it has sliding rear dropouts....)

SS - my thoughts zigactly.

This things direct competitor is a Peace 9'r? Although the Peace is not far off half the price. As nice a bike as it is, no one can accuse the Peace of pushing the style envelope. Whereas this, imagine tromping all the ou's on their on their cf R60k bike on this beauty...

To be honest, I don't think the Peace is anywhere near being a competitor to the Swayer.

+100 .... appeals to me like that as well and Nic's bike is looking bloody nice I reckon. One of the cooler singlespeeds out there, his looks quite different to the one on the website.
