we have gone back to using ziplock packets.

 

They really are the best. Cheap, re-usable - to a point - after which they are disposable.

Ziplock bags are not really waterproof .... you cannot take your phone scuba diving. They are splashproof and keep the water away from your phone.

 

By the way if you take your phone scuba diving it is difficult to have a conversation under water.

I have one that is meant for paddling for a phone or GPS

I use it when kloofing and paddling

A bit over the top for your cycling back pocket tho

Any Kayak shop will have them

It also floats if dropped in a river or the sea

I used Ziplock bags during the Imana- we had to swim across the rivers, such that my Camelbak was totally immersed, and was full of water, and they kept my phone dry. Use two bags, one inside the other.
