NAV007 Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 A friend of mine has a budget of R50K and is looking to buy a Hardtail 29er. What bikes should he be looking at? He has already seen the Scott Scale and the Giant XTC, Cannondale Flash and Specialised hardtail 29er's were too expensive.

If he is already a hardcore mountain biker, and still don't know what to get, I also suggest an entry level bike. Caerus and Noneking 2

NAV007 Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 My friend already owns a GT carbon pro (2010), he has a old XTC (old!!!) which he spends most the the time riding, but would like to upgrade the xtc hence a hardtail. Reason he is asking the question is besides, Scott and the usual suspects what else is available? Just because someone has money does not necessarily mean they spend appropriatleyhence why tyhey seek some advise.
