How do you think the clenbuterol got into Contador's system during the TDF?

No, silly. The general consensus, is that he would have been using clenbuterol during the early part of the season to shed some weight. Then he would have had blood taken out, stored, and then transfused back into his body during the Tour to increase his hb level and aid his recovery. That's the generally accepted method in these days of EPO testing.

 

Autologous blood transfusion. Undetectable except by looking at the history of the athlete's red blood cell count (oh, and other markers...)

 

Search this forum for a recent thread on Ashendens resignation. Read an interview with him where he examined Contador's blood values for all of his GT wins, including the steak one, and draw the natural conclusion...
