Hey Wayne, they are Crank Bros Cobalt 2 for 29ers. Details here http://www.crankbrothers.com/wheel_cobalt.php, CRC has a few on special. Frikken awesome and I weigh in at 94kg so they not scared either

Don't do it Wayne. They look awesome, but they're prone to spontaneous self implosion. Crap brothers. Crap hubs. Crap spokes. No local spares and replacement spokes are hilariously expensive cos they're a proprietary spoke design. Spares are also very few and far between.

You have been warned.

No of fence JWF. They look supreme, but the support and quality is shocking in true crap brothers style.

Sounds like you had a bad experience, mine has been good so far, I have a cobalt 11 seatpost on my Niner and a cobalt 3 on my Scott Spark, no problems to date, touch wood. Must admit I didn't like their eggbeaters, no quality problems just didn't like the feel. I needed a 15mm conversion kit for the front and though my lbs was unable to get them I called Bicicletta and they have them for me no problem.

Yeah but in all fairness it's pretty difficult to get a non adjustable seat post or bar wrong!

As long as they work for you, greAt. You do get good ones amongst the chaff.

I was looking at a set of iodine wheels but the amount of bad reviews on MTBR, etc put me off. If you're in the states and can send them back and forth for replacements then it seems a good bet but here in RSA, I decided not to rather.

They do look stunning though, especially in the anodised blue.
