If I go 1x10 then I should be just under 10. At 10.35kg now. Some new brakes, a rotor to swap out that piece of lead they call shimano ice tech on the front and a maybe a different saddle and i'm there. But will probably go 1x10 before I drop cash on new brakes.

Good luck mate. Almost there. Not that from now to 10kg's will make a difference to speed but at least then we can sleep at night :whistling: .

Anyone keen to swap/trade a shimano XTR 2x10 crank for a shimano XT crank drop me a pm...

Ja pretty confident I'll get there with bars, skewers and maybe some other odds n ends. My trump card is whipping my single carbon SRAM crank onto the Niner from the Cotic... But I'll see if I can do it with the XT cranks.

Between rotors, saddle and minus a chain ring you'll be there if not pretty close!

Kinda cool having an ally sub 10 bike...

Keep me posted  .

So finally built some wheels with the hubs I bought from Superstar UK online. My family bought the rims/rotors/tyres for my birthday and I had them built up.

855g's less in total than my current wheels :)

Not a 'real' weight weenie so no I don't know the weights of the individual bits and stuff

100% Correct yes.

Thanks for the tip by the way.

No way, still waiting for mine to get here.

Let me know what you think of it. Never had a Met before and now I have two somewhere in the postal system!

Actually received it on Teusday already.

Best helmet for my head to be honest. This will be my 3rd one. Fits me like no other helmet does. Had Bell and some others before and still the best for me.
