Don't let Latent's post count fool you (seriously, how did you get so many in such as short time?), but Clint was gone by the time Latent joined.

Seriously though Latent, I just worked it out. 115 days, 4531 posts = ~40 posts per day. Mad man!

If you check "I have an idea for a new thread" every now and then you'd understand. And his name will pop up in every thread. The man is proactive.

These are the best 3 for home use.. in ascending order of price....

LaMazzocco GS3 - http://www.lamarzocc...mid=484&lang=en

Slayer 1 group - it is so new, their website does not even have pictures yet - but it looks pretty much like the multi group toys - http://www.slayeresp...o.com/pictures/

Kees van der Westen Speedster - http://www.keesvande.../speedster.html

Ouch, all kids of hurt in there.

La Maz' that is so gun. So god damn porn and understated. But that Speedster. Double ouch. Double shot in Plett has one and they make seriously good coffee. Something about a hand pull (as it were, ahem) that is so good. Heading off to the family home in Plett next week to 'work remotely' and I'm looking forward to it... alot.

Double Shot is amazing, I don't even like cappuccinos but could not get enough of theirs!

Perhaps I should have said "best in the R10k range."

Altough those machines are awesome, there is no way I am paying $ 6000 + for a home machine. For that price you can buy a Nuova Simonelli Oscar and two proper mountain bikes.

For that price I can buy 4000 coffees at my roaster who had paid $6000 for his machine... :-)

Look, there was your problem. Strong Flat white, drink of champions, gods and legends (as well as a good aussie invention - like so much else) and in no way related to a Latte or a cap'. Sit happily in the knowledge that you're solidly one above the skinny latte, no foam decaf' cap' crew but suffer the slight sting of self loathing that you couldn't man up just enough to 'drink' a macchiato because you want to actually enjoy a beverage rather than tell people about how it's 'just like they drink in Saaaarnn Remo' and then play with your iPhone as everyone else enjoys their coffee!

I just played the cards I was dealt (I didn't order.) When it comes to coffee, it is either an americano or an espresso for me. Apologies on the labelling. Their beetroot and ginger super juice is also great.

We had a lekker mtb ride preceding that flat white.
