Okay so its 10 weeks to go to my first 94.7.

What time should I aim for? I dont want to just finish, I would like to do a decent time on a Road bike.

Haven't done any training but I am starting this weekend, what training should I do? Just ride as much as possible?

My first I finished in 5:13, not proud of it but I finished, my second I did in under 4 so I learned a lot from the first - ENJOY!!

To save face on The Hub, you need to aim at under 2:45 on SS.

Are you riding again this year? If so what are you aiming for?

Sounds easy! Consider it done

Also thinking of doing two laps this year. I have been threatening for years to do it. Will be doing the OFM for the first time. If I feel good after that I will propably go for a double 94.7 this year. I think it is time.

Okay so I need some real information on cycling etc

Could anyone recommend a cycling forum or site where I can get some help please?

Here bru.

2 rides a week of 90 minutes, medium intensity.

A Saturday ride of 120 minutes, medium to hard effort.

Sunday ride at 180 minutes with very light spinning gears and low heart rate.

Do this for the next few months and you will breeze through it.

Obviously if you want more specific efforts, stuff like hill repeats and sprints can be incorporated.

If u don't mind, what did you do to get from 5:13 to sub-4?

And how are you planning to get from there to 3:20? What's your training like?
