Azonic Posted June 22, 2012 Share I don't know why anyone would buy a carbon frame, locally, for like R13k, when you get the same frame from China, WITH a warranty, for a third of that...? I just paid for mine 2 days ago. Cost me R4302 WITH shipping. Do you really want to spend R9000 on a set of stickers? 99.99% of carbon frames come out of China. Don't be so ignorant to think otherwise... Or that a certain sprayjob makes it better in any way. Sorry "local" brands, its all about keeping my cash in my pocket. Madness. Here's my new baby, arrival within 2 weeks. Beautiful UD Carbon... sexy.

Danger Dassie Posted June 22, 2012 Share Don't buy that. No support or after sales service. I've been down this road. Wrong, you had an issue and a number of others also countered you on that with their own positive experiences. So shame yes, you may have felt hard done by, but Momsen's record speaks for itself. No supplier/manufacturer has had a 100% satisfaction record. Are you sure you don't want to add this to your list? http://www.bikeradar...29er-race-42755 Looks blerry naice! To the OP, maybe also look at the Whyte range for something different http://www.whytebikes.com/2012/international.php#url available from http://www.intltrade.co.za/ Morewood Kwela is one sweet ride, can be a beaut custom build on that. He has bought lots of carbon frames from the company in question and postage has never been more than 3 weeks or so... but ja, holding thumbs. Agree with the "No supplier/manufacturer has had a 100% satisfaction record" statement. The counter on multiple positive experiences from Momsen, not so much. All positives where for minor stuff, handelbars, posts, etc. Not going to get into it again. My experience is that the quality and service of Momsen is crap en I will spread the word far and wide.
