Bos Posted July 12, 2012 Share You sure? Think it's the Scott Genius, 150mm travel with Twin Lock.Still a sweet ride though. Reckon for trail bikes we'll see the guys pushing the 130mm travel 29rs and 150mm travel for 650b I MEANT THAT.. haha whats a Ransom again? marsbeetle Posted July 12, 2012 Share That Scott looks more like a Spark to me not the Genius which has a different shock setup. Nice either way.
Bos Posted July 12, 2012 Share That Scott looks more like a Spark to me not the Genius which has a different shock setup. Nice either way. But I like the shape.. Its unfortunately just the way it is, some shock setups just makes for a better looking bike. and I think the shock being in line with the seatstay might make it smoother when bearings start getting dirty. Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted July 12, 2012 Share That Scott looks more like a Spark to me not the Genius which has a different shock setup. Nice either way. Not any more. Genius now has the same basic shape as the Spark. Just the linkages that change, really. Longer linkage makes for longer "stroke" as opposed to the SPARK Edited July 12, 2012 by cptmayhem

Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted July 12, 2012 Share Also a push shock as opposed to the old pull shock. Yeah. I was referring to the diffs between spark & genius though. Personally, I prefer the newer version.
