very cool Rock.... she needs a set of 40's from Ryan

She is from me ;)

40s will be too big for this frame. We're establishing if the 33s will fit. I'll have some feedback for Rock this weekend and then, if he takes some, can provide some of his own feedback.

That said - where's your feedback on the 33s?

Ironically, you can pretty much ride this anytime, anywhere - no pass/ permit required... It's very post '94.

The name actually comes from the pom nic for the corner shop, the Kaff.

So, on this bike, you can ride to the Kaff 'n back...

Tight at the chainstays?

I have fitted a 35 in there and it doesn't rub and probably has the same clearance as any 23c on a modern carbon road bike.

I remember my TCR, the gap between tyre and seat tube was toit.

How much would a fork like that set you back?

Ryan I am waiting for my Ritcheys to completely die before I fit the 33's or until a new set of wheels fall into my lap!! The 33's have a  great tread pattern but look quite narrow.

On-One Codeine 27.5

attachicon.gifOn-One Codeine 27.5 Black.jpg

Frameset pricing available soon...

The Codeine 27.5 is built to smash the trails. With 27.5" wheels and 160mm of travel up front it's built for Enduro style epics. With a longer and slacker front end, as well as more travel, than the original Codeine the 27.5 is ready to get rowdy. It offers sure-footed handling with endless feeling suspension making it a  dream for descending.

Designed for a 1X drivetrain, the Codeine 27.5 offers prodigious mud clearance through its short, wide chainstays; combine these with the huge gear range of SRAM's 1X drivetrains and you get enviable climbing performance. If you're looking for a true all-mountain bike to ride over any and all terrain you'll find the Codeine 27.5 perfect -it's our new prescription for serious off-road adventures.

Ball achingly hot, but not being able to fit a bottle cage in the frame is a bit of a deal breaker.
