Think the price would be fair if the toobless was sorted, as for the rest I think its a good price as you cannot build that bike for R18k new. Tyres/tubeless would be the only "negotiating" point I would take if I was an interested buyer.

 

Issues are as follow IMO:

1) Economy is crappy at the moment, less people buying toys;

2) Frame is a medium, we all know SS riders are big muscular men with beards that only ride L's;

don't forget the "outdated" geometry...how will one manage to ride it now? :rolleyes:

So I have a cuzzie looking for a Steel SS MTB in a size XL or even better XXL .... so just putting the word out there to see if anything bites.... if it is a frame only deal, then that is all good too.

Thanks Pieter, I'll phone them. For sizing, would the 19.5 frame be too big for me on 29"?

 

I'm 1.80m tall..

No problem. I’m 1.93 and ride an xl so I think that should fit. You are welcome to try mine and compare.
