I am going to go ride my bike and not read all this junk you guys posted! Leave the keyboards and go ride dammit!

some of us have day jobs... which keep us bored all day so we escape by loong at hot bikes and posting this junk.

The nice part about the day job though... it means we can buy this junk

Oh Isit..

Ya The industry has gone through exponential growth in the last 5-10 years with hundreds of smaller companies springing up everywhere.. a real pitty almost that the market has gone carbon bedonnerd.. because this is driving a wedge between smaller companies and the bigger peeps. a lot of guys are francicly scratching to bring out a carbon am bike so showboat around tradeshows but I wonder what percentage of income really comes from these bikes. Obviously in a company like Evil's case this is all they focus on (mid range to DH ) which is already a much smaller segment.

Its going to be interesting to see how guys survive..and now that carbon has become run of the mill, what next?

Evil Actually got into k@k cos of their Revolt DH bike which was Ali. The factory in the east made such bad bikes (Major alignment issues) that most had to be recalled. Apparently there's a LOT of guys who are awaiting carbon undead frames as warranty replacements.

The funny thing is that Dave Weagle (split pivot, dw link) used to be the main man at Evil and everything he touches usually turns to gold.

I saw that memo... Sad state of affairs that left them in the lurch. All because of the lack of qc at the manufacturing plant...
