Thanks Koukie.

I bought a 'protective tape kit'. You get a small, medium & large pack with a numerous pre-cut strips. The bigger pack has a long, wide strip for the down tube, a thinner strip for the top tube, a chainstay strip, lots of smaller round and square ones for cable rub points and then a bigger square one which I used to cut up for specific points on the bike. The bigger kit costs around R200.

I think a still have a packaging it came in. If I do, I'll post a pic.

Your LBS should know what you talking about if you ask.

Bmx bikes have had press fit bb's for years now and the bare sealed bearings press fit into the frame with the correct size spacer sliding over the axle between the two bearings

Good choice on bike ;)

Nice build.

You must be reasonably tall, running a 100mm 10deg stem and a layback?...

Hi

Well I am 6' 1 I must admit I'm not sure whether this is the correct choice tho..any advice?....

Will probably be right... let the LBS do the build and then if it doesn't feel right they should swop out parts as necessary - change to a non setback post or shorter stem... they should help get you comfortable on the bike, assuming you purchasing the parts from them...
