Off topic but I am getting very gatvol of the UCI/CSA and some of their stupid rules . Was told that a shirt without sleeves are not really acceptable . I only had two words for the chap and the second one was "off" .

It was the Lab dude, Kallen. He was using Usher's number, which is probably why Usher appears as the winner. Not sure if Kallen was riding with a chip or not.

I've heard there is a special medal for those who complete the full MTB race and the 94.7 Road race, is this true?

 

I heard the same last year and still have not seen my "special medal".

There were quite a few who overcooked some of the sharper corners from what I saw in A1 group, with quite a few hobbling back. Finished 2:37 after taking quite a big wrong turn just before the last river crossing, which probably cost about 4 - 5 mins. Hope to repeat that time on the road race.

I have seen prize winners DQ'ed for riding sleeveless (a lady nogal), very stupid! A shirtsleeve is no protection!!! They are fooling themselves. Ipods are banned but there was a guy riding with some sort of music player in his backpack. Still couldnt hear me asking for track.
