Im buying this one next year, when I hopefully start working again, no questions asked!! Was the frame I was waiting for from nicolai, without the derailleur thingy at the front.

Looks like it's pretty bike specific, or at least needs to have the frame section for it to mount to.

Care to share what your plans are???

Heard these guys are pretty good with their service, as they need to break into the market, but will probably be import:

Haha.. will do! Bike will probably be more expensive than my bakkie and will need a Germany/England trip to get hold of it

That is pretty sweet!.. think those guys will easily give the drawing which will have measurement if you want to make housing.

Does that suspension work like the mogoose/GT type swingarm?

Currently it does, that's what I based the design off (GT Force LE/Sanction).

EDIT: Though it'll have to change with the gearbox

see they also sell the gearbox already enclosed, which means it can just be welded on as needed.

According to their calcs nothing

http://www.effigear..../#!weight/c1mow

Dude it's 5grams!! Weight weenies would never allow that!!

But seriously, there is some serious metal in that design, cant believe ther is no weight penalty, insane.

That must be so well designed then!!

Please share when you get an indication on costs for this, the weld on jobbie sounds very doable, but I suppose on a steel frame then.

Could always cable tie/duct tape it to a carbon frame............
