Even with slow, growly grip Maxxis High Roller II rubber we took several minutes off our previous five-lap Power Hour time at North Yorkshire's Stainburn trail centre. Interestingly, as well as getting close to our best downhill times, we consistently bested our PRs up the relentlessly technical, rocky, twisty black-rated climb back up, including a KOM on our third lap – useful statistical proof that Yeti’s new green dream machine is a true race-anywhere all-rounder that creates a whole new benchmark for 2015.

That is my dream bike at the moment... at a price of R140k as tested, its going to remain that way :-(

New Evil the following.

Evils first 29er, looks like similar geometry to their Uprising so should be a cracker!!

read the review on this bike it is the Nu skool of 29ers,there are 3 other bikes that are out now as well that fall in this group,Kona Process 111, Transition Smuggler and Banshee Phantom. All of them have between 105mm to 120mm travel and geometry of between 67.2 to 68.5. The Phantom and the Following have adjustable geo. All of them are changing the way we have seen 29ers.

Santa Cruz did it a couple of years ago already with the Tallboy LT. Running mine with a pike 160 up front and 135 out back. HA comes in at 67.2. Still remains the best all round bike I have ever ridden !
