Recommended Posts

A list of bike companies who make bikes in any and all wheel sizes which adhere to what is considered modern geometry in trail and enduro. (ie fairly recent 26, 27.5 and 29er bikes which have between 130 and 170 mm of travel)

I'd like to edit the post for any additions to the list and perhaps also make annotations for those with local representation)

2016 iron horse 9point3

Man I missed this brand

Good to see IH is back!

Looks a lot like a Vitus Sommet to me, but still very pretty.

Still not as pretty as this. One of the prettiest bikes IMO even by today's standards.

The infamous Sunday

I think you should change the criteria.

A lot of these companies do not manufacture 26" anymore, or never have. ( DH, Freeride and jumpbikes does not count.)

Niner...the name says it all: 29" only.

The Kona 134 is one bike I would really really love to swing a leg over for a good couple of rough and dirty rides in order to get a good feel for her.....even though she only has 140mm travel, it's all about the motion of the ocean and not the size of the ship!
