The Ripley is the first, and so far only, 29er in their range. The Mojo's design will stay true what it has been since it's re-introduction in 2005. But those lines and design would not have worked with the challenges 29ers and the Ripley's intended market pose.

Bike was three years in the making which was mainly around getting the DW to it's best giving the challenges. Mr DW set about finding a solution and came up with the Ripley's composite eccentric linkage system. So far it's only earned rave reviews.

But the Mojo as we know it will be around for another good couple of years.

Oh I see, didnt know that was the Ripley. Seems like a pretty well thought out design. It is good to know that the Mojo is here to stay. Timeless beauty!

Keep an eye out for these 2 models that will be hitting SA shores in the not too distant future from a company who championed 650B production when few if any showed interest

I own a Nomad and was really considering the Tallboy LT, but then the Bronson came along...... And now to test my brand loyalty I spotted the Niner WFO.....

The Niner seems like a semi DH rig (160mm travel upfront. And a 67 deg head angle..... Also can fit a 170mm fork.....).

All I can say is that we are spoilt with choices but now choosing is so hard!!!

Which one of the 4 would you choose for a place like Jonkers and Tokai?

My vote on the options - Intense 275 carbine. It's just awesome.

Out of your options though...Bronson. Longer travel than the TBC, and newer tech than the Nomad.

Yeah thats what I was thinking aswell................ but I will wait till 1 April...as Santa Cruz usually reveals a couple of new models then. I think this year it will be a 650b V10 and I am really hoping for a 650b Nomad..... Will have to wait and see.

Not quite sold on the LT 29er fad. I'd say Bronson for sure

Has it's uses - Long Distance Hauler that bombs downhill.

Santa Cruz nailed the geo on the TB LT. If I had too choose 1 bike to do it all, it would be it.

Luckliy I dont have to

The KHS model you have up there is the 2012/13 model.

Yes, it is interesting how many "others" have decided to hop on the band-wagon when they eventually see a good thing. Sometimes even going as for as imitation (more or less).

Unfortunately the the Giant did not get such a wonderful all-round review recently after a long-term test. What a shame they tampered with the rear shock angle only to do an all-ready-proven Maestro system damage. "suspension gremlins" as the test riders put it.

But the SX and std Trance models are versatile rides none the less.

The 2014 carbon SX you have up there is the Enduro competitor to the 2014 KHS 7500 Enduro.

The SX Enduro does or can come equipped as a 160mm travel setup too.

The 2014 2500, 3500, 5500 and 6500 models are the Trail models.

I love my Tallboy LTc, reckon its the perfect do-it-all bike if you spec it top of the line (ie Enve wheels, lightweight drive train ect)

But cant vouch how it would compare to Bronson or similar

You really need to go and test ride all of them
