See Planet X are selling their 'Lurcher' model full carbon hard tail for half price today. £249.99.

Funny you mentioned ordered some tubbies last week they only shipped today.... Unexpected from them

As well. I've not had that before. I ordered a heap of stuff nearly 2 weeks back and have been waiting for them to arrive and only got the mail today saying they shipped.

Not too concerned though, with this weather I'm struggling to get any saddle time in.

best place for reliable carbon wheels - around 25-38mm profile rims? 1400g or so?

Road? Clincher? Tubular?

i'm keen on getting 38mm road carbon clinchers... DH has a set at R8k that weigh less than 1300g!

seriously keen to see if i can import something of the sorts from the east

i'm just nervous i spend R5k and get a sub standard wheelset....

That is why I would import rims, buy quality hubs and have a good wheel builder lace them up for you

See flyxii's FR211 and FR213 they look similar, but i would say compare the geo's rather.

The Planet x One One Lurcher, Has any one tried this out or have experience with it?

I have purchased small items (hubs etc) from Planet x with no problems, fast and efficient, and their special price is quite special. You have to live with the decals though, but looks quite attractive.
