I think it is :) awesome frame!

I know it is for a few reasons. I know nofearnofun. We met at Cascades Enduro before you got the new frame. And most if all, that is the only Solis frame in the country - nevermind the bronze paint.

Got my Morewood up and running a few months ago. Thought I would share.

All going well so far after the new build, except for leaking fork seals and I'd prefer a headset with a lower stack height. Hopefully get that all sorted out soon.

Bars are 685mm so feel I want 720mm for the faster tracks.

xt 3x10. slx brakes. hope evo2 hubs f&r. fox talas & rp23...

not bad but still 14.94kg. Think if I took the maxxis off the front i could drop 2kgs though! haha.

cheers!

funny thing about the mavic rear specific tyres, on the wheel is the crossroc roam 2.2 and in my hand is the crossmax roam 2.2 , only difference seem to be a bit of thorn resistance and a few grams.... I shied away from the crossmax roam 2.2 because of a few bad reviews.... should have just put them on.... oh well....

the CHARGE front tyre is $%$^$%# AMAZING!! super soft and really really astonishing! my new favourite straight up!

So I've made so many changes to my ride since buying it I reckon it's time for an update. Here's what it looks like now with the following changes made:

Command post installed, Nukeproof electron flats, Hoops swopped from Roval to ZTR Arch Ex, 740mm Deity riser bar, 60mm KCNC stem (was 80mm Spez), Wolf-tooth 1x10 conversion with 30t ring keeping bash guard.

Bike still only weighs 13.6kg, which aint bad for a bike that chows some big trail.

Some pics:

Made some changes to my rig.

- Vinyl-ed the frame black.

- Changed the stock bar to a 740mm Funn Fatboy

- Installed a RaceFace N/W 32t chainring - should have done this way sooner. Have not dropped a chain yet and loving it.

Keen to see more close up pics of the vinyling of the frame. would double up as frame protection.

Please post if you dont mind.

Here are some more detailed shots. Was pretty intricate to get the shape of the vinyl correct before applying. (did this with wide masking tape) once you have a template though, it's easy to apply with a heat gun.

I just masked the green bits out and left the carbon and white, one could do the whole frame if needed.

Use similar technique to redo my remedy helmet Red Bull style.

Hope this helps.
