Hi guys, so here's a question for you all. What would be a fair price to sell my Santa Cruz Nomad C 2011 Large Bike?

Specs as follows:

Full Carbon Large Frame

Fox 36 Kashima Fork 180mm

Rockshox Monarch Plus Rear Shock

Chris King Hubs

Enve DH RIms

Rockshox Reverb 125mm Dropper

Thompson X4 50mm Stem

Answer Pro Taper Carbon 780mm Bars

X0 Carbon Cranks

X0 Shifter and type II Rear 10spd deraileur

Formula K18ORO Brakes 200mm Front Rotor 180mm rear Rotor

Chris King (Bottom)/Cane Creek (Top) Headset.

If it's a 26er, take what you think is a fair price and divide by 2 or 3. Sad for sellers, great for astute buyers! If it's not then you still in luck.

Its value just went up thanks to the Rand. I am on a 2011 Enduro Carbon 26er and I would hate to have to work out its price. Yours is way higher spec and the gravity market is very different to the XCM scene, so aim high. A decent enduro bike is well over R50k new these days...

This has been a long time coming....

I bought a 2012 commencal meta am3, out of the box it came with:

Fox 32 float RL,  float R rear shock,  sram x5/7 2x10 groupset, mavic xm319 rims, formula RX brakes and everything else commencal branded... cockpit, hubs etc.

>>  To date the groupset changed to a 1x10 setup with wolftooth 40T expander, sram X9 type 2 rear derailleur, stock x5 shifter still in use, and zee cranks with a kitted 32T narrow wide ring.

>>  Regarding suspension, the float R was swapped out for an old school RP2 (the non boost valve version) and received new decals.  I picked up an old school 2010 fox float 36 RC2, and set it 160mm, the stock 36 went from this....  (Thanks Stoke suspension for the advise and service)

to this...  (Thanks Bogus one and Tyerone for the help)

>>  amoungst other things, a giant dropper SL,  BBB clipless pedals was changed to Shimano DX pedals, Handlebar and stem was changed to Spank bearclaw series... 777mm wide bars and 35mm stem, all took its respective places on the bike.

Stock XM319 rims with novatec branded commi hubs was swapped out for these....

Inferno 29's laced to Hope pro evo 2's 20mm front TA and 142 x 12 mm rear, I think it has wheelsmith black spokes with deep red nipples..  (Thanks Bibi for hooking me up..)

Tyerone added the finishing touches...  I added the dirt...

attachicon.gifNew wheels with decals.jpg

and the outcome... Currently sporting a 2.35 Magic Mary TLeasy trailstar snakeskin front, and Maxxis minion DHF exo 2.5 rear

This is my All mountain, XC, Trail, DH and endure ride... still going strong on my 26inch wheel and don't intend changing anytime soon.

One question though... do you recon it is still an AM3 or could I now say I have an AM   :whistling:

Peace out!!

For Taahir, it does. Anything bigger and he wouldn't be able to sit on it...

JK.

He rides that thing like it wants to be ridden.

Taahir, that is RIDICULOUSLY sexy. Very good work, fella.

Remember you motivated me to buy it back then...

Also, the commi missionS posted a good while back, still looks awesome to me. I keep his comments about his build very close for ease of reference... :-)

Thanks though.

Don't believe this guy.... I'm still very slow.

Most of the time it feels like the bike takes me for a ride. Haha
