Stretch Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I never got to watch any of it. out of curiosity were the sprinters passed on their first lap up Alp D'Huez while the climbers did their second lap? I was wondering if that was going to happen? nah - the distance between the two ascents was too great
nickc Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 do you get "big diesel engines" in smoke belching high revving two strokes?????? You do get a two stroke diesel though - maybe that is what Phil was refering to !
rouxtjie Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 " A very select bunch" maybe twenty times?aaaaaargh.....
Chro Mo Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Phil is the Murray Walker of cycling......a tour too far, I reckon!
NotSoBigBen Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 For your own sakes watch with the sound turned down or watch it on RAI or something .... scotty and rouxtjie 2
TiBones Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Haven't heard too many "Heads of State" this year though.
Bike Mob Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Too many times he called Chris Froome: Ritchey FroomeRitchey Porte...
Wonder Woman Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I think Phil is getting a bit old for this...bwahahahaha. He used to use his engine for big boys like Ullrich, not skinny dudes that spin at 150rpms. He's like my mom....my name is Denise and my sisters is debby, she ued to call us DebNice. Okay, back to topic
Bike Mob Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 lots of "Job of Work" s and "Man Possessed"s though... hahaha

Wyatt Earp Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Guys, I don't buy the "Froome bonk" story for a second. It will be a sad day for cycling if I am correct. If you have to do this to gain credibility and popularity. Yesterday many people was shouting "dope" and I am pretty sure they are less verbal about it now. It may also be to mind f#%k the rivals. Watch him today, we will see. I really never thought that people could stoop even lower.Where is that face palm emoticon. Tankman, EZRider, jaxtun and 1 other 4
'Dale Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 I really never thought that people could stoop even lower.Where is that face palm emoticon. That's a rowwe comment indeed.
Bub Marley Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 I hope Froome would have learnt his lesson yesterday, and doesn't recklessly attack for nothing. I think he really underestimated his opponents and he almost burn his fingers big time. He needs to wait for someone else to make the move and then track. Yesterday he burnt his energy unnecessarily. Contador is definitely not the same rider as a couple of years back. The mountains was always his strength but he's been well off the pace and because of this, he's attacked on the descent which to be honest is not gonna get him anywhere. I fully expect Quintana to move ahead of him after todays stage.
