'Dale Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Who you calling eccentric? It's Italian flair. There's Italian flair then there's Mario... :-P Cippo 1
GrumpyOldGuy Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Nice to see a relative unknown like Jan win a stage, I liked his press interview after the win as well, seems a pleasant humble young fella. Nice win for Radioshack as well. The peleton didn't initially want to work together to pull the break back and he made full use of the opportunity. T-Bob Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 According to reports the dog wasn't so lucky a bit later on. Got taken out by a tour motorbike.
cadenceblur Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 That owner's a bloody idiot. Should be fined or something
sarover Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Froome looked real good but the attack was strange... Wasted energy or practise for stage 3 when the 8% will be 3kms and not 1km

Everyone is bemoaning the skyborg scientific, power meter, numbers game so why not stretch the legs out a bit and confuse a few people? The first week is always about watching each other, keeping safe, conserving energy etc. Why not play with the pelaton a bit if you're feeling good? Worked for Nibali in the Giro.

Bianchisti Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Well done radioshack, poor fella was paced when he went over the line. You mean paste?
HappyMartin Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Daryl Impey listed as 4th in the GC. Nice!! BlinkFan, Pure Savage and Tumbleweed 3
tombeej Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 It's a helluva lot easier/safer descending a steep twisty road on your own vs in a big bunch. All I saw from Froome's move was intelligent, defensive riding. He only went 150m from the summit so didn't burn any matches.
