All electric.

 

Want to go gas.

 

HAs the rotisserie function and parts as well.

 

Plus, the damage on the stovetop is from my new pans, I shake pans a lot and they are starting to damage the top.

 

Its superficial, but I would rather sell it before I screw it up completely.

anybody got a lekka mustard chicken recipe??

 

Honey and mustard chicken casserole

 

Ingredients (serves 4 people)

1 onion, sliced

4 Tbsp honey

4 Tbsp Dijon mustard

8 chicken pieces

Salt and pepper, to taste

 

For the gremolata

3 garlic cloves, roughly chopped

Zest of 1 lemon

1 cup fresh parsley (flat-leaf parsley if you can get it)

 

Method

1. For the gremolata, finely chop the parsley, garlic and lemon zest and set to one side.

2. For the chicken, place the sliced onion and chicken pieces into a casserole dish. Mix in the honey and mustard and allow to marinate for at least half an hour, while pre-heating the oven to 200°C. Season with salt and pepper and roast for 50 minutes.

3. Remove from oven and sprinkle with gremolata.

4. Serve hot or cold and with roast potatoes or salad.

The food from Vietnam is hot and spicy and combines different flavours magically to produce the most wonderful food. Join Chef Paul Gerntholtz for an evening of great food. On the menu is grilled lemongrass satay, grilled leaf-wrapped beef rolls, fresh Vietnamese salad rolls, Saigon baguette, honey ginger chicken, caramelized pork, shrimp cakes, bananas in coconut milk and more. The food is truly delicious, not to be missed.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Artisan breads are true hand-crafted breads. Come and learn how to mix, ferment, shape and bake your very own hand crafted loaves. Maatje Vollmer will help you make these rustic breads from sour dough that are healthy and natural. Basic bread dough, country loaves, rye bread and more will be made. Bring a container to take your fare home

Alas, no. Got the ingredients, but we had load-shedding.

Far be it for me to tell you how to do things, but one of the distinct advantages of potjies is that they are not affected by load shedding :whistling:

Hahahaha!

I wanted to boil the tripe in the afternoon while we popped out for a bit. Will most likely do it this weekend.
