In general, if I don't ride my bike, I wanna climb the walls. So, it's a mental health issue... :ph34r:

Snotty nose and sore throat this morning is NOT going to help :cursing: . So I went for a vitamin B injection :unsure: this morning followed by a haircut where I had my nostrils and ears waxed :blink: and forehead threaded ... right now I feeling kinda abused and in a funny space :mellow:

beginning of the year i struggled to get from the one side of the pool to the next.yesterday i had a mile swim in the quarry at hillcrest,so i gues my winter training is going somewhere.

Had an op 5 weeks ago.

Started training after week one, not going too bad.

 

Easy easy

I'm a sun kid... cold... bad!

 

April/May was a forced rest due to a certain red car, but I've been slowly picking up again.

 

Graph in hours. And I've started to run, although very short bits.

Very nice ride that, did a combine 5 hours between Saturday and Sunday on her.

The 20 % gradients I rode yesterday were however no to friendly on that gear ratio :thumbdown:

Gone from averaging 100km's a week (including a weekend race) to 0, zip, nada, nothing.

 

Picking up some much bloody weight and becoming unfit as all hell.

 

Dreading the day I actually get back on the bike and find out what the damage is.

 

On the plus side, it's great watching series, eating popcorn, drinking hot chocolate and being a couch potato when its pouring and galeforce winds outside :)

Going to start commuting against, amongst the polar bears and snow.

 

Will try Maffetone'ing it and see how things go.

With your preferred routes, will you change the gear ratios?
