Ok, so

15-18 August Tour of Legends

4-6 October 3 towers

4-6 November W2W

13-16 Dec Sabie.

I can do that.

Lets start entering.

If that was my mtb schedule for the second half of the year I would also have to find myself a good divorce lawyer!

At Tour of Legends and Sabie you can take family along. Loads to do for them and you don't stay in a race village.

so come join me and oompie (and maybe those youngsters ) at VG on Sat.

Ahhh....now we hit a problem.

I have strange rules about things.

I only spend time on the weekend with my family.

No Golf, No MTB training etc.

I train during the week, and enter events on the odd weekend.

You guys fancy taking a day off and doing a ride during the week...im in.

Appreciate it though.

I take my family with always...

I realise for each family it's different, and it sure looks like a nice list of races.

But for me about 2 stage races a year is what I can handle while balancing the demands of a young family. For my wife & kids the problem is not so much the time I spend racing (and I take them along), but the time I spend training to be fit enough to do give it horns in a stage race (and not just survive the 3 days)

I completely agree.

I am fortunate enough to be self employed, so I can train during the week.

As a compromise, I do not indulge in anything over the weekend.

It is only family time.

However, I asked my wife if she would have an issue with me doing J2C, she supports me, but in order to prepare, I got to get used to riding in a group at a race.

So I think a few races a year like this is not too bad.

Plus she loves Legends Resort, so this is a win win for her
