How many of these names do you recognise?

Laurent Dufaux - EPO / HGH / Festina affair.

Vicente Aparicio

Jean-Cyril Robin - Former rider for Festina, Leader or US Postal but aways considered with Basson as super clean. Got attacked by UCI for speaking of '2 speed cycling'.

Arsenio Gonzalez

Federico Muñoz - Positive Results

Vladimir Poulnikov

Massimo Podenzana

Laudelino Cubino - Positive result in '93

Laurent Brochard - Santioned for doping offences during Festina debacle

Beat Zberg - Client of Ferrari

Yvon Ledanois - Tested positive, no sanctions. Now part of BMC backroom staff.

Johan Bruyneel - DS @ US Postal and shadowy as F*ck. Allegations left right and centre.

Oscar Pelliccioli

Alberto Elli - Doper

Jean-François Bernard - Great french hope that faded away, killed it up Ventoux in ITT

Herminio Diaz

Not sure about the rest but again. Who wasn't? Or more like who wasn't getting caught.

An just one more... Want to know where a lot of your favourite dopers ended up? Well most of them seem to be found running a lot of the current teams.

See here http://velorooms.com/index.php?topic=1360.0

Starting to be a little out of date but none the less, is anyone surprised that it's a struggle for todays generation to stay clean when they are being mentored and guided by the generation that where responsible for the worst excesses.

Unreal article as people try to piece the actual 'clean' tour results since 94.

In '96 boardman would have been promoted from 39th to 10th!

Wow... so Andy Schleck "actually" did win 2 tours... and here we thought he would never win anything...

Since it is actually about Lance. He claimed in his semi biggraphical book that " He suffered better than everyone else"

There is some studies that draw a distinct coleration between people that have experienced high levels of pain and their subsequent ability to with stand pain.

The study was done under war veterans that suffered serious injuries and recovered.

Their ability to endure pain was double that of the control group. These people also experienced the hope they felt during their recovery as positive and subsequent pain did triggered the hope emotion when thay fight through it.

EPO LAnce was the best cyclist on dope by far. It might have to do with this ability to suffer better than others.

I'm really fascinated at how some of us can confidently say who doped and who didn't.

I must admit that I don't know any of the protaginists personally and have to take them at their word, though I must admit with a certain amount of scepticism.

Funny how every doping related threat goes back to Lance......................

In a sport of sinners (it seems) Lance was the best............................ but then he called poor Betsy a fat bitch

Does this remind of Hansie?

I don't justify the way Armstrong won, but todays Tour winners, like Wiggo, wouldn't stand a chance against a clean Armstrong and Ulrich. Now kill me.

I'm with you. Guys like Mercx would get killed by most top 20 tour riders in todays terms. Now kill me.............
