I saw the skinny, didn't have my elbow guards with me though, so didn't think it would be smart to try it.

 

I also saw some chick with blue bars ramping a ramp... with no elbow guards

and apparently she was breaking the "dont-wear-lycra-with-flats-and-when-riding-an-AM" rule....so she couldn't have ramped too good...I'll look out for her on my next ride out
