If you want a good lag, go to KTM Facebook page from a year ago when they signed BB as a Tech 3 rider and read the comments. A LOT of people eating their words.

I believe Marc Marquez was a rookie in 2013 and took the title.

 

It's interesting for me to compare the 2 riders. MM was a Repsol Honda guy pretty much from the start and was nurtured by them to where he is right now. Brad has been KTM's golden boy from early on.

 

It's incredible what KTM have managed to do with that bike. It runs WP suspension and KTM have no history in Moto GP. It SHOULD NOT BE WINNING DRY RACES

Go back 1 weekend and people will be wrong. FFS during the race, nobody predicted he would win until maybe he got to second.

 

Even us here were surprised that he got 7th in quali.

 

Anybody that says they expected him to win this year is talking nonsense.

 

Brad surprised us all.

The most impressive was Biaggi. Pole, Fastest, Lap and win, in his first 500cc race.

Yissie. Just being in that championship is incredible. Being there on one of (I think) 12 works bikes is unfathomable. To win a race is an almost impossible feat.

 

Let's let the guy soak it in a bit. History shows that rookies are fast but hurt themselves. Let's hope he stays out of the gravel traps for the rest of the year in what should be a learning year. I think he's already exceeded any expectation. KTM's first win and a win in the dry at Brno.
