Edit:

"Ducati said Stoner set a best lap time of 2m 2.1s on Saturday. The official Sepang race lap record is a 2m 0.6s, by Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo in October's grand prix when the best Ducati lap was a 2m 1.493s by Dovizioso, using Bridgestone tyres."

Testing times as at 06h18 today

Lorenzo 2:01.814
Pedrosa +0.311
Marquez +0.629

Interesting!

Interesting!

Worth noting that apart from running the new rubber the track was reported to be very dirty as it has seen little to no action the last couple of months.

Since his run Duc has announced that he will ride in the official test as well so obviously there's pace there.

All we need now is for Stoner to come back and kick the 2 Spaniards into the grandstands.

I mean, I'm a huge Marquez fan, but I absolutely love Casey and would be more than happy if he had the pace to run with the boys. We'll see tomorrow!

Uh, if we're going by number titles Ago is the GOAT. Just sayin'.

At 'varsity one of my mates had a picture of himself taken throwing a browneye at a party. His er....*undercarriage* was clear to see.

For the next four years, and still to this day, we refer to him as The GOAT....

Easy tiger!

For GOAT Status you need to have won more than 2 titles. I'm afraid Vale is the GOAT.

That would be Mike the Bike ... :whistling:

Looks like it will be Yam vs. Duc this year, unfortunately Jorge looking massively fast already ...

No No. The GOAT is Ago if we're going by title count.

But for me the real GOAT is Joey Dunlop.

Hi all, good to see you all survived 2015 off season.....enjoyed reading all the comments to catch up a bit...

Lorenzo will always be fast in theses scenarios, where it is just riding lap after lap of testing  without any racing, its his bread and butter....its when we get into the thick of things of over taking and racing, when you have to polish the brass balls and show them a little, do we see the real size of them ( and he aint the bull, but maybe the bullfighter)

Viva Rossi.....No one was talking about him, but he is up there ( just needs to be a bit more consistent up there)....and some people said he is too old

Anyway...its going to be a great year of racing
