Glad you are ok Vetseun.

 

One good thing coming from the Hub is how we need to be more aware of our surroundings. Every big or small incident mentioned will hopefully highlight the possible dangers out there.

Agreed Dips. My sight is also horrible. I think that makes it the worst, you dont see it comming, *** feeling.

It is actually a lot more common than we think, especially when riding deeper into the bush, GAME SNEARS ARE ALWAYS ON SINGLE TRACK

Jip, Ive seen it on our farm often. They know that animals follow the easiest route. Place a snare at a spot where you know they will pass and you have a good chance of a catch. Horrible death I think.

Bad news guys, and thank goodness nobody was too seriously hurt. What, with all the other dangers to look out for - here is another - booby traps or worse.

haha. This was the price I paid for trying to dish out some pain to my training partner. From now on he can dish out!
