Made two more this weekend. One that goes at bottom of BB shell to protect the FD and another one that goes ontop of the Seatpost / Rearstay junction to keep Mud of your back.

Looks ok, but it is made out of white plastic, so it looks a bit off on the black bike.

Will try and source black plastic sheet this week and make new ones. Want to modify the bottom one a bit more, for more protection of the FD and a bit of the chain.

Pic 1 is of top portion. Holes will disapear on "permanent" version, this was made during fitting to get best possible fit.

Pic 2 and 3 is of bottom section. Will make the sides a bit bigger on the permanent version, to give more mud protection to front derailer and a bit more to the chain.

Overall look on bike. Will look miles better in black, and finishing will also be better.

I will be interested to hear your feedback on how much crud the bottom one stops from getting onto your FD.

I like the FD one , stopping those little stones that jam the mechanism. Some of the races I've even considered stretching a condom over the derailleur.

Leave it white it matches the saddle :)

I would simplify that front der guard a little, please see the rough and rushed sketch.

All you need to protect are the pivots on the front der, the one you currently have looks like it is just going to be a mud collector.

Let me know your thoughts / questions RE the sketch.

I'd love to see you try that without getting it torn to bits. :eek:A front derailleur is NOT shaped like a banana you know! ;)  Post the video clip here, PLEASE! :D

Then you'd have to go and buy some real man sized ones.....
