So I've just got to the UK and looking for a fun hardtail, spotted this Cotic BFe and I'm pretty keen. What do you guys think?

I have the BFe and love it. Definitely worth it!

Only had a few rides on it, but it is my bike of choice for short fun rides.

For FlyLuis, same photo posted in the SS tread, and will be updated on here once it has been pimped out a bit. ;)

Yeah, I'm going for it. A bit on the pricy side but the spec is pretty decent as well.

Looks like the new on-one 650b bike, has similar rear welding as that Bfe at the top, although the Bfe dropouts looks much nicer! Also a cheaper option when looking for a steel hard hitting frame.

How about the Contraband Rogue

Local product, only issue I see for you is the QR rear.

Being in Cape Town, I'm sure you might be able to covince the David Mercer or the guys at Salvo bikes to manufacture/adapt the dropouts of the On-One or any steel frame to thru-axle.

That's if you don't find something else

To be honest, if that Switchback had waterbottle mounts my deposit would have been on it's way to the UK already. Why you no have mounts?!

This can also be "fixed", but why would you want a waterbottle on a bike like this anyway?

Was wondering about that.

Don't mind a camelbak, but it's nice being able to jump on the bike without having to strap something to your back.
