Looks like it has sliding dropouts, Hairy...

Hard to tell from the pic and there are no chain tugs but only QR skewers, which would not be an ideal solution at all

Yep, it has horizontal dropouts, the tensioner is built into the dropout. There is a setscrew in front of the axle that can be turned to push the axle backwards. The QR is part of a 10mm through axle so the entire combo hold the rear wheel in place pretty well.
