Darn road works, large square hole covered in water.

I used the only brush I had. I tried a facecloth but bits and pieces wouldn't budge :cursing:

I put some Opsite (?) plaster on to try and keep it from leaking through my pant. It remains very swollen and I am not finding a comfortable position to sleep in.

So far I have not had much obvious sympathy from my wife....

maybe you should stop telling her that you need help for your swelling!

The nice thing about the bruising under and around the graze is that is so sore that I mostly don't even feel the roasty   .

All the advice about Metyolade, Bactroban, Pulmison (and the TUE - thanks for the warning dr ) and the application of plastic skin, etc. will ensure I ward off any infection and that the wound will heal nicely. Thx guys.

For the more deep seated pain, I self prescribed Lagavulin 16 (43%) 750ml. The instructions read " take 50ml twice an hour, until pain subsides"

It worked a treat last night. My hip felt much better, but it appears I was unaware that I had also fallen on my head. Although there is no scratch on my helmut, I seem to have woken up with a bad headache..... :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

Sorry to hear dude.

The headache is either from your brain bashing around the inside of your skull or a spasming muscle in your upperback/neck area from tensing during the fall. The first type goes quickly. The second will need a bit of physio... Sucks. I had a massive crash once where I had road rash over 30% on my body.

When you have healed up we must get together again ;)

You sound like my daughter. These were her exact words.

Also, i got a TUE for some Remhoogte Honeybush Reserve Chenin Blanc, 2010 to go with my Fettuccini with oxtail ragu at lunchtime.

The muti seems to be working. I can now no longer feel my legs, or rather, my legs no longer feel like my own.
