Came in just after 6:00 this morning with lights failing towards the end. Awesome ride though. Only disappointment and disgust is the pig cyclist leaving their wrappers and trash anywhere and everywhere.

Now thats value for your money.....!!! Respect !!!

Good job matchstix. Came in at 3:15 and feeling sore. Pard was not happy from 70 ks in. Had to pace and focus on finishing. Beautiful parts of the kloof i must say. Bit frustrated that i did not see MAC during the day. Would have been nice to *** myself looking at that accent. However really cool looking at the lights at the top when you at the bottom.

Also never been called a gazelle before, but thank for the compliments. The bike, she likes these compliments.

Will be back, but not next yr. :(

Matchstix, we came in just before 6 and I am sure we came past you in that last 20km's. Still remembering telling my teammate that I feel for you having to do that last stretch without lights.

Then you must have passed our team just before the end , we were waiting for a friend whose stomach went haywire. We waited where one cross the railway line for the lat time!! There was quite a big group of you ?

My wife and I took the first 110km extremely easy. She rode up Baviaans Back, the fangs and Bergplaas without stopping. Changed to fresh kit on Bergplaas.

My wife struggled a bit on the flats between Bergplaas and CP5, but after CP5 she started to find her legs up Never ender and got a strong finish going. Got to the finish just after 01:15 am.

I am super proud of her considering the fact that this was her first ultra endurance type event. If my father in law (my previous TB partner) was still with us he would have been extremely proud as well.

We are going to relax with the two dogs on the beach tomorrow morning.
