As part of my New Years resolution I would like to do my first stage race this year. Are there any that you could suggest as a starter that I could enter as a solo rider that won't scare me off the multiple day scene?

I got a route 66, 2 day solo entry if you are interested.

Berg and Bush 2 or 3 day event you can do solo! Lots of friendly people on route to keep you company and help out if needed.

JA.... its time they started catering for single riders as well in some of the big traditional team only stage events.

Teams are fun and all but sometimes just doing it on your ace would be nice

The reason why I entered j2c is because they did solo entries....double edged sword being a one man wolfpack...But I like it that way

No punctures so all good, lucky we did the top up of stans because I would have had a problem yesterday

Yep, if you want to race and not have to worry about how your team mate feels (or vice versa) then there is no stress or worries about some one else....free to do as you please

Yea plus you have the tent to yourself, so you can poep the place vrot....proper hotbox

 

Also if you do it with tjommies like we did, you are never alone...riding or otherwise.
