2 of us went out this morning and road Cobra, mamba, Vasbyt and My Roots. After last night and this morning's rain we found the single track to be in superb condition, it drains extremely well, and there was ample of grip available.

Just wish to express my gratitude to the trail designers/builders for a job well done!

Awesome! Thanks bro!

On teh beer thing. What we really need is 500 smackers to pay for the non volunteer labour for this Saturday.

Funding has not yet come through (a few banking holdups with the voluntary association and so on) and we need to pay for 4 labourers (who work Farking hard) for 5 hours.

Bank account details please, I will give R200-00 now, with the hope that others will come to the party.

I just forked out R430 for my annual permit but I see no relation between that and what you guys are doing.

I often can't make the trail build days, this is the least I can do

I'll happily pay for 1 guy.

What time Saturday? EFT into an account or cash on the day directly to the worker? And I challenge a few more guys who ride and never help build, to do the same!

Gulp, thanks Oufy.. and DJR, Canadonis and ayjay.

I was paid a visit on Monday by Gavin who is for all purposes, the "foreman" of the Tokai crew. Seems the last month without work has been tough on all their families... We would normally not ask this of you guys but at the moment while we wait for all the funding mechanisims to kick in, we don't have much choice. I have known some of these guys for almost 10 years and now know all the members of their families too - what humble and honest people. They take great pride in their work and they know so much about the construction of trails now, it shows especially when it rains. ;)

Myles, what a great response!

Also Heinrich Hattingh.

Seriously, okes. Thanks. These guys are doing it cos they want to lift themselves out of poverty (literally) and don't wanna just smoke pot and drink obies all day like their peers.

Plus, they flippin WORK. They are the reason we can move so much dirt in a given day. Really, thank you. ..
