A Stans Notubes 26" conversion kit. Never worked on my rim/tyre combo. Hey, anyone wanna buy a Stans kit, without the yellow rim tape but with everything else?

I'll take it off your hands if you still have it.

S### - I got one (ok, bought one) for xmas

I dont know which one you bought...

I bought the cheap 130 rand one over a year ago... best thing I ever bought...

Cleans my chain very quick...

You need to use a good de-greaser, cleans it awesome...

MUCH faster than the old toothbrush and hand brush which takes forever...

Dont give up yet :)

Yup I have to agree, some neat clean green or something and it cleans quick quick, it doesn't replace a good parrafin cleaning once a month or so, but is much quicker inbetween those.

Lemme think....

First Ascent Singletrack shorts - the padding is rubbish and the pocket zips broke right away

Spez bottle cage that couldn't hold a bottle (Salsa Stainless steel Nickless Cage for the win, see pic)

Ryder lock-on grips that disintegrated after 5 rides. ESI's for the win.

Topeak bike light - the bracket died on a bumpy road.

Bryton HR straps - I can't get one to last more than a year

Exchanged my second hand "Gumtree" aluminum Raleigh for a sleek carbon Specialized Amira....worst mistake ever! Needless to say I'm on the prowl again....perhaps I'll just go back to Raleigh! :cursing:

What was the issue? I'm looking to do exactly the same upgrade for my wife.

A Mountainbike from Cajees.

It was not the bike's fault, more the salesperson's incompetence selling the righ sized frame and my noobness in not knowing any better.

Ha ha that makes two of us. Would rather take up running than buy from them again

Worst road tyres EVER. Think they're made of candy floss and straw. Goedkoop koop is duur koop.

+1 on the Conti Ultra Sport.  It's like the glass and stone chips get sucked onto the rubber and just keep on going until they reach your tubes.  I have two hanging the garage.

Smoove is rubbish.  Only use it on my kids bikes now.  Wish it would get finished already.

I have a pair of those Olympic shoes. They are a bit heavy, but they're comfy for me and have lasted more than 3 years now. The soles don't have any grip on rocks though... my next pair of shoes must have nice grippy rubber soles.
