Looks like any personal bests are out the window....a reasonable finish will be the order of the day by the looks of it

that wind forecast makes the others (10kph less) look downright desirable! Makes me wonder how many entries are suddenly going up for sale! :P

Relax boys. Most useless profession in the world in a weather forecaster. Poker players are more accurate and highly regarded.

so you are predicting their prediction is rubbish? :P But yeah, i hope so too.

Why stress when its going to be what its going to be!

If the Cape Doctor is being his good self, just keep reminding yourself that it will become a tail wind past Smitties. But hopefully it will not blowing that hard that you have to get off the saddle to power pedal down the hill to Camps Bay.

Everyone kaks themselves the week before the Argus and it's aways going to blow... Just like the predictions of woe and horror last year, it turned out to be a great ride.

Get up, get to the start and ride. It's the Argus, are you really not going to ride because there is wind? It's the one race where if it's cr**py then you just have a good time, take a champers from a stranger, banter with some peeps and forget about a PB or sub 3:15.

Try finding that kind of fun the rest of the season and by the time the argus seeding comes around again next year your time will be one of the worst of the year and won't count anyway.

Like your thinking dude. Honestly this is one race where time does not matter at all to me. If its blowing 60km hour, everybody will have a slow time. If you allow it to f%ck up your ride, your time on the saddle will feel much tougher. Its Argus, nothing can spoil it for me.

It looks like for once I am going to be quite happy on the tandem for this one. It is always noticeable that when the wind blows the string of bikes behind big blue gets longer and longer.

The weather forecast for Sunday has changed about four times since Sunday! The forecasters don't have a clue

This is Cape Town ... never mind the forecast, the weather itself can change 4 times on any given day.!
