You guys have got it the wrong way round, kit that bright is for us hackers. If I hadn't been all lumo yellow and green that guy wouldn't have been able to bunny hop me while I was sprawled across the track.

Screw this. I spent 45min today trawling Jenson, Amazon and ebay for a nice set, but either shipping to SA is not allowed, or they want to charge me $45 per item. Couldn't find a set that would cost me less than R2.5k. I'll stick to Adidas for the time being.

I didnt see any new TLD stuff on BTOsports. Was their anything available at Jenson? I tend to avoid Amazon.com for that very reason: limited shipping to ZA. But sometimes amazon.co.uk provides a workaround. But I dont the UK store will offer the new stuff just yet.

I found some of the latest stuff yes, but it looked like it was only the Retro line (can't remember where though, might have been on ebay...)

 

Either way, I got the nice Dakine set (with lined shorts) in the previous post for R1600 all-in, so I'm giving the idea of TLD kit a skip for now.

Good pair Endura or Dakine shorts and a cheap old t-shirt works fine for me. Otherwise I hit the clearance store from Full Throttle in Edenvale for some cheap mx jerseys.

 

It might not be the latest and greatest fashion out there but there is no way I'm spending close to R2000 on a pair of shorts and a jersey.

 

I can't justify it.

There is currently a clearance sale on at CRC At up to 70% off you could land a pair of TLD shorts for less than or equal to a local pair of baggies.....(Indola, Endura, etc) Might be worth a look.
