I am doing the Jock Cycle Race 2014 for the first time this year. Any tips and tricks?

 

How much climbing is there in each stage?

 

2013 race:

St 1: 800m ascent for 41km

St 2: 915m " 46km

St 3: 835m " 62km

 

 

2012 race:

St 1: 590m ascent for 41km

St 2: 815m " 57km

St 3: 835m " 52km

Saw the entry fee.

Fell off my chair.

You are going to need some serious climbing legs.

Final stage is living hell.

 

You go from the icy ice of winter on stage 1 to 40 plus degrees on the final stage. Pack kit accordingly.

After missing last year and having a horrid experience the year before, I will be back to redeem myself this year... I am in between two minds, should I be glad, or should I start Crying already...

 

One thing is for sure... The Jock is a proper Challenge!
