My bike looked like that after my recent faceplant.  Blood all over the top tube.  He won't feel the eina now that much.  The eina will come tonight while attempting to sleep.

So tomorrow is Hump Day. The riders will have just over 8000m of climbing left when they reach Worcester. Despite another powerful performance by the Songo boys a lot can still happen. Topeak Ergon showed some good form today. They seem to be the only team that can respond to Kulharvy's big engine. The stage seems to lean itself to the contenders marking each other for most of the stage and possibly have the likes of Merida or Scott contend for the stage win. The mountain ranges between Grabouw and Worcester is notorious for claiming tyres with sharp shale that seems to attract sidewalls at will.

Ariane and Annika can switch to fatbikes and still win the event comfortably, thats how dominant they have been over the last 3 days.

wonder what happened??

gonna take a shot in the dark here.

wiped into a tree/rock/partner and klapped his head

bled all the way to the finish/next WP.

either that or he found some protestors in pinehaven who though he looked like tony ehrenriech

i don't think this is over at all...sure songo look like a deadbeat for the win but there's a lot of rocky road still to be spun before sunday.

a bit in the dark over the backup teams. Bulls normally don't skimp here at all, and have even brought 3 teams sometimes. but sahm is riding on another team so surely can't be helping here.

just looking at the positions today at WP3, who had backup, who was on their eis.

songo - do they have backup? (RE:CM an hour back, spading chicks)

topeak 1 - topeak 2 15mins back

bulls1 - bulls 2 2:30 back

multivan merida - no backup?

is that it?

I SAW HER VERY briefly at the monster one year,,,,,MACHINE

That year she crossed the finish line almost the same time as the winning male rider .Apart from Team Arianne and Annika she must be the best climber

RECM ladies have been slapped with a 1hr13m time penalty for taking a 5km shortcut[emoji15]

They mistakenly took a wrong turn. If it was willful they would have been DQ'ed. Clearly they wouldn't be trying any shortcuts. I still back them to make it up and win.

Nah last yr Evans willfully took a shortcut and they got a time penalty

Yeah they'll make it up.. but it still a 5km shortcut. I am sure it was unintentional but they still gained and advantage. . Maybe the other ladies teams will decide to go for it and will race them.
