eraser Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 First day was much tougher than I expected! Especially the sandy bits in the last 20km. Water points were amazing. Frankfort race village and the vibe created by the locals was awesome. Today was easier. The first hour at 0 degrees Celsius was fun. Reitz is okay but doesn't have the same feel as yesterday. Benjamin Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Yoh, body not sure what's going on this morning, after 9 days, it's ready to go again. Nice to sleep in my own bed though. What an amazing experience. Huge thumbs up to the race organizers. Just the cold nearly killed us. Durban boys get freezing below 15 degrees, so when it's subzero we got issues! Descent down Mt Paul and climb up Pufadder will live long in my memories! Amped Portable Power 1
