It would be nice if we didn't have to walk that horrorhouse of a hill again .... but then again I'm 4 or 5 batches up this time around, so may get a chance to ride all of it this time. We had unforeseen land issues last year leading up to the event. Definitely not what we want to have happen. Lots of time to adjust things ahead of time this year.. That rocky koppie we all had to hike up last year destroyed everyones legs, I was in B and nobody was riding it. Anybody know if that section will be in the race for 2014? (have done plenty of rocky off-road motorbike in kzn before) You have plenty of time to get ready, but don't fool yourself that your motorbike experience will not be of that much help. It will help you to choose the line but getting there is a whole new experience, you will be turning the ear off your grips just before you fall. I suggest that you try and ride a few trails before hand Groenkloof and Thaba Trails are viable options from Benoni. Modderfontein is also a possibility but I have no experience of it.
