Knee pads for XC training

Ive just had a knee operation and Im looking to get some kneepads to wear on training rides for some protection!Any advice please on what to get!? XC riding

Bit pricey, but the following bits from TLD i'd recommend if your XC adventures tend to involve some rough trails:

 

knee shin guards (KG5450):

They are very light, stay in place during riding provided you get the sizing right (same for all pads!), and do a pretty good job in event of a stack. I think some XCers during the recent XCO world cup were wearing these pads.

Not sure where you all are but we have some new Gform knee and elbow pads as well as a large 661 helmet as per the pic for sale. In the south of Jobeg! PM me if you're interested.

What operation was it? If you need to keep ligaments from ripping again (Or something in that line), you should get a brace, pads wont help. I wore a brace for a while, not fun at all

 

Saw Greg was also sporting a Brace last weekend.

He's still loving the DH, off to Thaba again this morning. ????

 

He has other kit and the helmet is a L which is too big .....
