Serious crashes on the Spruit today

Came across two crashes where the guys/girls were taken away in an ambulance, the one in Delta park where those jumps are and the other on the jumps behind the school (the bit just before you get to Fratellis coming from Republic).

 

He they are okay and heal up soon

Where are there jumps in Delta park?

 

I guess the second spot you're talking of is the 'Bomb-hole' behind Old Parks?

 

Hope the banged up riders heal up soon.

Do spruit often... And love the work the spruit ferrys are doing. But i think we need to put up danger signs? Maybe just a warning these jumps is dangerous?

The odd jump has appeared on the way down through the trees from the school field. The whole section has been totally fixed up and berms have been added too.

Also a kicker has been put in the exit to the bombhole next to the main jump. If you don't know it's there and don't see it in time and you're carrying a lot of speed you can get bucked. Hope they are ok and get better soon.

Saw the one incident, looked like rider broke his hip going back to pick and pay from fratellis. Think it's the bomb hole...had another incident with a arrogant prick but enough about that...stopped and looked like the guy was in quite a bit of pain...heal up brotherman, remember...mtbing, cause rugby players need heros too

There were warning signs down the Delta line when the Dash was on a few weeks ago...

A double right up at the top by the school before the elevated switchback takes you into a berm and up the bank. Think it should be longer...

 

And a log gap after the tree line which seems to disappear and get rebuilt (badly unfortunately) on a weekly basis.

A COMPLETE idiot

Lets just say a guy Club kit should be setting a better example than running red robots, speeding past a serious accident when he saw the paramedics carrying a strecher down the singletrack and then forcing a noob off a tricky piece of singletrack when he can see the we had all stopped to let the Guy ride up comfortably at his own pace. Clearly he thinks he is God's gift to mtb, pity he got overtaken a few 100 meters later by social riders on their SS. Maybe he should rethink his training program. If i was in my club kit I would behave COMPLETELY differently. The Spruit is not your own private race track, you can go fast and be courteous to other users its not that difficult.
