the problem with LA is he was the guy forcing the smarties down the kids throats while preaching about how sugar free his diet was. Like a priest who owns a whorehouse.

I would agree with you to some extent but limited to his own team. What about the other thousands of Pro Riders of that time? Read Tyler Hamilton's book "The Secret Race". Great insights into the team as well as the industry.

AUSTIN, Texas -- What I wanted was to find him slumped in his uneasy chair, naked nails on the wall, haircut in his hands, not even a poodle by his side.

I wanted someone who was sorry -- sorry for what he'd done, sorry for what was next, sorry to be stuck in his new, sorry life.

But that's not what I found.

Lance Armstrong is happy. In fact, he looks better at 42 than I've ever seen him, less gaunt in the face, thicker in the chest, bluer in the eyes. I found a man sitting in his den, surrounded by his seven Tour de France chalices, his 3-year-old, Olivia, on his lap, kissing him and laughing.

Really pissed me off.

Yeah, look, I just skimmed the article. But what a bitter sad little dweeb is the author. Heroes, fallen idols, grow the eff up and quit living vicariously through some guy you put up on a pedestal in the first place. Arsewipe.

So it stands to reason if everyone in that era was doping that if the playing fields were level ie. no drugs he would still have won!

Please, not the "level playing field" fallacy again.

Educate yourself on the science before someone leaps to the conclusion that you are a fool rather than merely ignorant.

Nope, you will notice that Archie's hair pattern is different.

It's three hashtags.

Plain and simple .
